Norwegian Cruise Line announcement: Norwegian Dawn will be home ported at the Port of Tampa

Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) announced that Norwegian Dawn will be home ported at the Port of Tampa for the 2012-2013 cruise season. The 2,224-passenger cruise ship will replace the older sister vessel Norwegian Star. NCL stated that it would commence home porting operations in the Fall of 2011.
The Norwegian cruise liner will depart on Sundays for 23 seven-day cruises to the Western Caribbean. It will commence sailing on November 11, 2012.
NCL further announced that it will offer a new 16-day Colonial America cruise sailing from Quebec City to Tampa as from October 2012.
