Port of Galveston reports record figures for 2010

2010 was an excellent year for The Port of Galveston: it reports its highest gross operating revenue since 1941.
Port Director Steve Cernak announced that the highest gross operating revenue ($23.25 million) as well as the highest net operating income ($7.34 million) in 69 years. The large number of cruise passengers were a strong contributor, Cernak reported.
