Obama budget proposal: $9.3 million for Port of Tampa

The Port of Tampa could receive $9.3 million in funding from US President Barack Obama's 2012 budget plan.
The funding request had been made for Port of Tampa operations and dredging maintenance projects. Port director Richard Wainio advised that additional funding needs will have to be met through different sources.
