The 2011 San Diego County Fair: Great Family Fun Every Day Opens

The fun begins on Friday, June 10 at 10am! And this year's event is themed “Race to the Fair,” highlighting Southern California’s car culture. Last year's fair saw the highest attendance so far: 1.3 million guests.
Great daily family fun contests include the Pie Eating contest, the Watermelon Seed-Spitting Contest at the Infield Farm and the Corn Husking Contest. Little guests will love the old-fashioned contests, such as sack races, hula hoop contests and relays of many kinds.
