Advance Booking

Do I need to book in advance?

Not necessarily. If you like, you can contact our call centre Monday to Friday during working hours. Our staff will be happy to help you make a reservation for a space in a car park close to the port. Please note that only if you book in advance will you have a guaranteed space in the car park. Moreover, by booking online with us, you will be able to benefit from our exclusive special offers.

Can I make a reservation if my printer does not work?

Yes, you can. As soon as you make a booking, you will receive a written confirmation of your reservation by email and by SMS text to your mobile phone. This notification will contain all the details of your reservation. The car park staff will be notified of your booking immediately and will be ready to welcome you. Please, do not forget to show them the SMS with the booking reference in order to prove that you have booked a space in that car park.

Can I book a space in an official car park?

No, you can’t. PortParking.net offers alternative parking solutions with private operators only.

Transfers to and from the port

How do I get to the port from the car park?

Most of the car parks listed on our website offer a free return minibus shuttle service to the port. This will be indicated in the car park’s features.

Payment

Is it safe to pay online?

Yes, it is. PortParking.net uses a secure online booking system. The booking process is completed using SSL 128-bit encryption, the same system used by banks. We do not store any debit or credit card details, we only use them to process the payment of the deposit for your reservation. You can also use PayPal, Google Checkout and AlertPay to make a reservation.

How much will I pay in advance?

When you select the port where you want to park your car, you will receive a free instant quote. If you are happy with the price, fill in the booking form, where you will clearly find the amount that you have to pay online. You will receive an immediate confirmation of your reservation by email and SMS text on your mobile phone. Please note that booking online is free, but most of the car parks require the payment of a small deposit in advance.

How much does it cost to modify a reservation?

To modify your reservation is free of charge. Simply send an email to admin@portparking.net or log in to your account. Remember to quote the booking reference of the reservation that you want to modify and the details of the new one.

How much does it cost to cancel a reservation?

Cancellations are free of charge. Cancellations can be refunded if they are requested with two full working days notice or more. Please note that the cancellation must be requested in written form, by sending an email with the booking reference to admin@portparking.net. You can also cancel a reservation by logging in to your account using your email address and the password that we sent you by email when you made your first booking.

What are off-airport car parks?

The car parks listed on our website are located outside the port. They are secure, low cost alternatives to the official port parking. The services offered generally include transfers to and from the port. Generally, the car parks listed on our website are close to the port and have a range of safety features such as CCTV, 24 hour patrols etc., but we advise you to double-check this information for each operator before booking, using the relevant links that you can find on the website.
