About the Port of New Orleans
The Cruise Terminals
There are three cruise facilities at the port of New Orleans: the Erato Street Terminal and the Julia Street Terminal, which are adjacent to each other, and the Poland Avenue Cruise Facility.
The Julia Street Cruise Terminal Complex is located within the same building as the RiverWalk Shopping Mall so cruise passengers can go shopping until they have to board the ship.
Julia St Cruise Ship Terminal has two berths, berth 1 and berth 2.
Vessels from Carnival Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean embark from here.
Services In Cruise Terminal
Inside the cruise terminal you will find a refreshment stand that sells coffee, ice cream, assorted sweets and other snacks and services, a souvenir and curio stand selling New Orleans keepsakes and forgotten personal items, as well as an ATM.
Passenger Information
The Port of New Orleans has increased security to ensure the safety and security of all cruise passengers. Allow extra time to
pass through security clearance points as carry on luggage will be searched and all checked bags will be scanned. Travelers may also be searched. If you travel with children you must be able to show ID that verifies that the children are yours. Carrying a valid passport is recommended, however your cruise line is able to clarify ID requirements.
