Cancellation and Refund Policy
All Cancellation and Amendment Requests must be made using the "My Account" facility on the Portparking.net website or by emailing admin@Portparking.net. Cancellation or Amendment Requests made verbally, over the telephone or directly to car park operators will not be actioned. Cancellation Requests made using the My Account facility are actioned automatically and the Cancellation Notice Period (defined as the time between your arrival date/time and the time Portparking.net is aware of your cancellation) is calculated from when the Cancellation Request is made using My Account. Cancellation Requests made by email will be actioned during office hours and the Cancellation Notice Period is calculated from when Portparking.net processes the Cancellation Request. You are therefore advised to carry out Cancellations Requests using My Account.
Cancellation Notice Period if booking has been upgraded to Flexi Booking:
- Less than 24 hours before the arrival date/time: No refund
- More than 24 hours before the arrival date/time: Full refund
Cancellation Notice Period if booking has not been upgraded to a Flexi Booking:
- Less than 72 hours before the arrival date/time : No refund
- More than 72 hours before the arrival date/time : Full refund less a Cancellation Charge
The Cancellation Charge is set at €6/£6 or the deposit that you have paid, whichever is less.
Please note that these common examples will not be refunded:
Flight changes including cancelled flights
: No Refund. It is the customer’s responsibility to be informed of flight changes and adjust their timetable accordingly, informing Portparking.net of any relevant changes. If your flight is cancelled Portparking.net is not responsible and you will not be entitled to a refund. We will endeavour to change your parking dates if your flight is rescheduled but are not required to do so and it will be dependent on availability.
Missed shuttle/courtesy bus
: No Refund. Shuttle bus timetables are available on the Portparking.net website and on booking vouchers, it is the customer’s responsibility to be aware of shuttle bus operating hours and any scheduled departure times.
In the event of customers parking at another car park due to late arrival
: No Refund
In the event of customers parking at another car park due to not finding the booked car park: No Refund. Directions are included in customers' booking vouchers and are readily available from Portparking.net. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure they have their booking voucher and direction details with them when they travel.
Lack of booking voucher
: No Refund. Booking vouchers are sent out automatically by email and SMS. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Portparking.net to ensure they obtain the relevant details should their booking voucher fail to be delivered.
Unused parking days
: No refund available for unused or part stays.

Portparking.net - Terms & Conditions of Booking
PLEASE NOTE: All parking lots listed on this website are outside port grounds and Portparking.net will not refund any bookings based on claims that this information is not readily available.
Portparking.net acts as a booking agent only and therefore all responsibility and liability for all vehicles lie with the parking company, hotel or meet and greet service reserved.
1. Prices and Charges: Portparking.net continually reviews products listed and their prices to offer the best value for money. Prices can go up as well as down due to seasonal special offers. All prices shown are for pre-booking online and include taxes at the current rates unless otherwise indicated. There are no payment charges regardless of the method of payment used.
2. Booking and Cancellation Procedures
2.1 Bookings made through the Portparking.net website generate booking vouchers automatically on completion of payment. A booking however is not a guaranteed place. We may cancel a booking if the parking lot/hotel/valet service advise that they are no able to fulfil this booking. A full refund will be given in this circumstance.
2.2 Directions and parking procedures: Please make sure you have directions to the parking lot or instructions for the service you have booked, as well as the operator’s telephone number, and details of the entry and exit procedures. It is your responsibility to obtain valid directions before departing - any missed bookings, ferries or cruise departures or other problems arising from your failure to obtain valid directions will not be refunded by Portparking.net.
2.3 If you are charged a higher price than that confirmed on your booking voucher by the parking lot because you do not follow the correct entry or exit procedures or do not present your booking voucher, Portparking.net will not be able to obtain refunds on your behalf.
2.4 Transfers to and from the Port may be included in the Portparking.net prices but please check the parking lot details listed on the website or contact Portparking.net before placing your booking to confirm this.
2.5 A minimum stay applies at some parking lots. Should you wish to stay for fewer days, you can, but the cost of the minimum duration is payable. Any prices quoted will include the minimum stay charge.
2.6 Daily prices may vary according to the date, length of stay, arrival time and departure time.
2.7 Car Keys: For all Valet options and some other parking lot operators you must leave your car keys with operator staff. It will state on your booking voucher and the website for any option that requires this.
2.8 All parking is subject to the terms and conditions of the individual parking lot. It is your responsibility to request the parking lot’s terms and conditions upon arrival.
2.9 Meet and Greet Bookings: Any input errors resulting in company drivers being kept waiting or late arrivals by clients may result in an administration charge, payable to the driver immediately.
2.10 Moving and Relocation of Vehicles: Certain parking lots will need to valet park your car. You must ensure that, before leaving your vehicle with the parking provider that it is in a roadworthy condition, taxed and holds any legal roadworthy certificates if applicable. The parking provider reserves the right to move your vehicle within or outside the parking lot by driving or otherwise to such extent as the parking provider, or its servants may in their discretion think necessary for the efficient arrangement of its parking facilities at the parking lots, or in emergencies or to avoid accidents or obstructions. Ignition keys to the vehicle must therefore be left in the vehicle at the time of handing it over to the parking provider’s driver. It will be necessary in these circumstances for the operator’s driver to have the right to drive or otherwise take the vehicle on the public highway. The operator’s drivers should be fully insured by the operator for this purpose but the customer should verify this themselves.
2.11 High-sided or unusually wide vehicles: Not all parking lots can accommodate oversize vehicles, vans, campervans etc. or there may be an extra charge. Please check with Portparking.net before booking.
2.12 Cancellation and Refund Policy
If you do not comply with any booking requirements stated on this website or are unable to park for any reason and do not inform us by writing, you will not be subject to a refund. All cancellation and amendment requests must be made in writing either by using the account facilities on the Portparking.net website or by emailing admin@portparking.net. Cancellations or amendment requests made verbally, over the telephone or directly to parking lot operators will not be actioned.
Notice periods if booked with optional Cancellation Cover (where available):
- More than 24 hours after the arrival time: No Refund
- Less than 24 hours after the arrival time or anytime before the arrival date: Full Refund
Notice periods without optional Cancellation Cover:
- Within 2 working days of departure: No Refund
- With 2 full working days notice or more: Full Refund less $6 administration charge or the deposit paid if the deposit is less than this amount (where working hours are Monday to Friday 9.30am to 5.30pm).
Please note that these common examples will not be refunded:
CHANGES INCLUDING CANCELLED FERRIES / CRUISES: No Refund. It is the customer’s responsibility to be informed of these changes and adjust their timetable accordingly, informing Portparking.net of any relevant changes. If your trip is cancelled Portparking.net is not responsible and you will not be entitled to a refund. We will endeavour to change your parking dates if your ferry/cruise is rescheduled but are not required to do so.

IN THE EVENT OF CUSTOMERS PARKING AT ANOTHER PARKING LOT DUE TO NOT FINDING THE BOOKED parking lot: No Refund. Directions are included in customers' booking vouchers and are readily available from Portparking.net. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure they have their booking voucher and direction details with them when they travel.
LACK OF BOOKING VOUCHER: No Refund. Booking vouchers are sent out automatically by email and SMS. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Portparking.net to ensure they obtain the relevant details should their booking voucher fail to be delivered.
UNUSED PARKING DAYS: No refund available for unused or part stays.
2.13 Arrival Times: We request customers ensure they arrive at the parking lot with plenty of time to achieve their ferry/cruise check-in.
2.14 Complaints, Accidents, Theft, Claims: All cars are parked at the customer’s risk. In the event of any complaint, claim or dispute (e.g. if your vehicle should suffer damage whilst left with a parking provider or should you lose the vehicle or any of your possessions from the vehicle whilst it is left with a parking provider), the customer must deal directly with the parking provider booked. Under no circumstances does Portparking.net take any responsibility for such an event.
Any claims for loss or damage to vehicles or in relation to the quality of the service provided should be made to the parking lot operator. We will on request provide contact details for the operator.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Portparking.net does not control such websites and will not be responsible for their content or for any breach of contract or any intentional or negligent action on the part of such third parties, which results in any loss, damage, delay or injury to you or your companions.
